Technical Consultant – Product Specification Specialist | Claregalway, Ireland
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Hybrid, Claregalway
Responsibilities:
- Represent Partel as an industry leader.
- Support existing Partel customers by providing airtightness/breather membrane designs, responding to technical questions and providing necessary documentation.
- Develop Partel network by supporting designers with technical expertise, product specification support, CPD’s and attendance at trade shows.
- Produce drawings and information for issue. Production of technical descriptions specifying material and associated properties, utilising knowledge of standards and construction procedures.
- Visit designers’ offices/site when requested.
- Produce accurate, consistent, and professional records, reports, and general information.
- Carry out other duties as directed by your manager
About you
- Relevant qualification – Architect, Architectural Technician, Engineer, Green Building degree etc.
- We are open to applicants with all levels of experience.
- Technical knowledge of the construction industry.
- Detailed understanding of the relevant regulations.
- Advance knowledge of Ms Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills, as interaction with other professionals, authorities and clients occurs frequently.
- Ability to work on own initiative and explore business development opportunities.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Experience with industry specific software is a bonus – U-value calculation tools, WUFI, BuildDeskU, CAD etc.

- Relevant Degree in Engineering / Architecture / Construction
